Its disgusting animal act circuses are still going in the UK. Thanks for all you UK campaign groups are doing to get rid of them, you have our full support here at Animal Rights Action Network (ARAN) in Ireland.

especially to Okapi1997 (. what kind of sadistic, pig headed and self centred freak r u!??? have u ever stopped for a moment and thought of the quality of life these animals..i don think so and the animals who apparently EDUCATE! if confining, abusing and cruely ignoring the signs of anxiety, stress not to mention tramatict stress when a baby is quietly remooved from its true mother to be used to produce more animals to face the same future. displacement in genes will take place reproducing more and more disformed and unnatural acts in animals with disturbed habits carried on from one generation to the next... so much for saving the species more like gradually suffering them to death!!! and the wild animal population is only at an all time low because of the pressure on poachers to kill and the demand for supply in zoos, circuses and exotic pets.

i apologize if any comments have offended you but without zoo's our wildlife has no hope, and human education in nature cannot expand, is it not right to deprive a young boy of the joy of seeing an elephant, possibly the only time in his life, do you see my point

yh, i dont like your charity, i dont like what you stand for, and how the hell can you diss the likes of chester zoo and san diego zoo.. IF U HATE ZOO's SO MUCH WHY DONT YOU SPEND 225 million pound on animals and education (like chester zoo is currently doing) to set up your own in-situ project, or do you even know what that is.... you say you want to get animals out of zoo's and pet trade, WHY DONT YOU TRY SAVIN THE SPECIES LIKE ZOO's DO, CUS YOUR DOIN NOTHIN, WHERE AS THE LIKES OF CHESTER ZOO, SMITHSONIAN AND WESTERN PLANES ARE SAVING LIVES AND SAVING THE PLANET, why dont you give your money to something worth doing, like concentrating on circus's cus many people and zoo's are alot more capable of caring for animals than...

I'm not a hardcore animal activist but I love animals, especially elephnants. I've known for quite a while how the circus treats it's animals. I watched some of these videos and they left me in shock. I was so upset and angry for not being able to help stop this. I want to do something drastic, not involving money, to get rid of animals in the circus. I've already tried by going to Ringling Bros. website and writing nasty comments about the show even though i know they will be ignored. What should i do? Maybe videos like yours should be made into a documentary film like Michael Moore's movies so that it can reach the general public....

Keep up the great work CAPS. In the UK there are EIGHT animal circuses still going. That's 8 too many. Please everybody support the great work that CAPS do and keep this number coming down .
