I love being outdoors! I like fishing, hunting (actually this involves me sitting in a stand or blind more than shooting animals, lol, ADD makes it hard for me to be quiet/still enough), hiking, camping, and taking pictures of things I think are beautiful. I've always been interested in politics, but recently I have found myself increasingly focused on how IT will effect ME. I'm a Libertarian. I am a Historian. I seek truth in a steadily fallacious world. I believe people should rely on themselves as opposed to relying on someone else. I'm a starving student, and I still pay my bills... why can't you? I believe in a very limited government. Stay out of peoples' bedrooms, bodies, pockets, healthcare, etc. I know better than anyone else what is good for me... and if I mess up, it is on me! I love love love history! I suppose that is obvious since I'm working on my Masters in History. I like to write... mostly because I have such vivid and crazy dreams. I have to believe one of them has the potential to become a best seller one day!! I like to garden. I'm trying my hand at a vegetable garden this year! I like to walk with my pitbull whilst simultaneouly educating people about the breed.My dream job would be a Travel Guide Writer for Frommer's. Actually, History professor would be my dream job, but travel guide writer could potentally be a history professor too, right? The best place I've ever been was Ambergris Caye, Belize. I went there on a coral ecology conservation trip a couple of years ago, and I have never seen a place so beautiful or peaceful.
