Very excited to share with you this new work!! I found some truly remarkable stuff during its creation, and learned a few new tricks along the way. The end result produced some stunning image sequences which I hope you will find as enjoyable as I have. Some of them were derived of artistic intention (something I haven't really begun to explore much yet in fractal animation), and some of it stumbled upon by accident.
Two artistic themes I wanted to try and convey with this animation are (1) the illusion of matter and the true nature of mass: vibrating energy, and (2) the sensations that can unfold as one experiences slowly oscillating frequencies (both in the visual and auditory realms, but my focus was purely on the visual here). Deep stuff, eh? ;) I'd love to hear your comments and feedback.
The fractals were generated using Apophysis 7X.15 (http://apophysis.xyrus-worx.org) , exported using Exper's Render Flam3 script 1.3.11 (http://exper.3drecursions.com/2011/02/26/render-flam3-1-3-11/), and video composed with VirtualDub 1.9.11.
Music is "The Long Ships" by Nate Wilson Group
Please subscribe to get updated as I continue to produce more animations. Enjoy!
Also, if you would like to collaborate on a project or use any of my animations in something you're working on, don't hesitate to send me a message and I'd be happy to discuss the possibilities with you.
