If its lip sync'd, why's his voice sharp at 49secs-53secs? Hmm. The keyboard bass part is obviously backing up the band but I'd lay my reputation on it being as good as LIVE

@yatz57 Yes. He is a great producer, tidy bassist but definitely not a Jon! As for that new guy Benoit David...he sounds exactly like Horn here. Such a shame. The best band in the world have slipped...meanwhile Jon Anderson is still amazing. Listen to his version of Close to the Edge in Bratislava

I heard this in the queue at B&Q and it struck a chord with my love of Fripp and also the instant recognition of a Chapman Stick! Lo and behold, its Nick Beggs playing stick bass and Fripp played on the bands next album! SMALL WORLD....

@topdog2328 A load of this stuff was recorded with double tracked drums...so he probably did that for the same desired effect live. Weather report were the same in the early days at times.

Wow! Such a shame all the focus is on the Yes tribute band: Yes (and that kills me to say that about my favourite band ever!!) when this is going on.

The world shifted on its axis when I first heard Olias.....and I felt as if I'd meant to hear it somehow, like IT found ME! Also, how blatantly stolen is the opening theme of Bladerunner by Vangelis from the Olias album????? Kinda backs up the unwritten comments about him having played on the album.

@unclegusyo Yeah this annoys me too. People think he was first...an original sound!! Youtube is good for finding old stuff but sadly it kills off that sense of achievement when you found a new artist pre internet days in a music store.What a guitarist......I heard of him at school age 15 ( 1995 )

I dont remember who it was who said it (Maybe Gerald Veasley, Vic Bailey or Marcus Miller...someone of that vain anyway) but they referred to Jaco saying, "My brother said "Yeah you can play his licks but could you come up with them in the first place?"

I only got to know of this band thru the Mercury Music prize....which they should have won. Refreshing to hear musicians and also chorused tele's!!!!! ( Cocteau twins/Jeff Buckley anyone??)
