@1494220 The lighter male voices are particularly susceptible to this--lyric tenors especially. A good bass can growl out his low Ds till his tomb.

I had the immense honor of being the 2nd half of the bill with Jack at the legendary Ash Grove in L.A. in about 1958, then stayed on there as the light-man and saw him several more times. A great icon of our generation. Irreplaceable

A slight ritardando after the 2nd "Irr aus Liebe" is acceptable, but this goes way overboard. Otherwise excellent.

What you can see looks great, but it's really all too dark. Get more light next time!
