I am the Cantor and president of Adat Ami/ The Cantorial Arts Shul in Las Vegas, NV. Together with our Rabbi and Music Director, Rabbi Cantor Yitzchak Golbart. The Shul will be officially re-opening for the High Holiday season of 2008. Our mission is to promote the beautiful art of Chazzanut. Every week there will be a choir, and the Davening will be different every week. Highlights of the prayers will be expounded in English, with commentaries, together with the choral harmony. Our belief is that the prayers must be uplifting, and if you are the same person spiritually when you leave the synagogue, than the synagogue is not serving its purpose.
