canSURVIVE is a fundraiser celebrating cancer survivors and benefitting Needs Beyond Medicine. Needs Beyond Medicine is a non-profit organization working to decrease the burden of cancer, by increasing awareness, education, access to screening, and support for survivors. A primary program of support for survivors is the organization's Relief Program. Needs Beyond Medicine offers small financial grants to survivors to help with non-medical expenses, such as food, utility bills, transportation to therapy, etc. The grants (maximum $250) have enhanced the quality of life for the nearly 400 people who have received them since the inception of the program.
