We all have a right to our opinion, but I am a little puzzled by the choice of pictures for the Eagles/Hotel California. My recollection is that Don Felder did nost of the guitar solo, with help from the old James Gang front man. Felder seems absent from the pictures.

Personally, I give credit to this classic performance to Mann, Lynne and Petty, who really capured the essense of this classic song. Very beautiful. How this song has flown under the radar for so many years is beyond me.

I can't decide who is having more fun. Bob Bogle getting to play with Peter Frampton, or Peter Frampton getting to play with the Ventures. I know that Frampton considered himself a guitar player first. This video belongs in the Smithsonian.

I lived through this era and I don't remember this song at all, and it seemed to not hit the charts. As I listen to it now it is hard for me to understand why. This song is hauntingly beautiful. This song is a testament to just how spectacular the Seekers were.
