The moment my first novel hit bookstores, I started receiving email from women...tons of women wanting my advice on love, life, and relationships. Responding to email has practically become a part-time job. It's as if I am the good-girlfriend they need, one that will give an unbiased, honest opinion. While I love being a part of my readers lives in this way, I began to wonder how many women even have someone they can consider a good-girlfriend? So, I started asking them about their girlfriend circles. Some women claim to have friends, but they don't want them in their business or they're afraid their friends will judge them or quite simply, their friends just don't understand. Then there are others who flat out say they don't deal with women, period. I think that is unfortunate, because it's only natural to have a girlfriend to talk to...so I've created GIRLFRIEND CONFIDENTIAL.
