Is a Norwegian singer/songwriter born 6th of April 1984.

Camilla is 25 years old and already an experienced musician. She writes her own
music and are being compared with artists like Sarah McLachlan and Katie Melua.

Back-Story
Camilla was raised in Fyllingsdalen just outside Bergen and has two younger brothers. Her mum is a poet and her dad is a director in the insurance business.

The passion for music started at the age of seven when Camilla begun piano lessons and sang in the schools girl choir. In her teens all her experiences and emotions got collected in diaries, which a few years later were shown to be a good inspiration to her lyrics.

Music Studies
After three years at Langhaugen music school in Bergen, Camilla went to England to continue her studies at Bath Spa University. A lovely city and a creative environment was a giving atmosphere through a Bachelor- and Ma- degree in music and songwriting.

About the Music
Camillas lyrics are strongly coloured by her own perspective on life, experiences and not at least dreams, which is very obvious in her self produced CD from 2008. Here you discover the song called Gotta Find Someone, where she asks herself why a lot of us share the constant urge of being with someone. Or said differently: Why is it so hard to make it on your own? At the same time the fear of never finding true love is apparent, which is evidently revealed in Walk Right By. Camilla is showing a musical depth with material from singer/songwriter ballads like No Is The Answer to the pop-genre in her songs Undress Me and No More.

The Unique Voice
Camilla is constantly reviewed she with the unique and powerful voice. Both at the music school in Bergen, and the University in Bath she was recognised among a lot of other experienced singers, resulting in the victory of The Battle Of The Vox. She is being compared with artist like Celine Dion and Kelly Clarkson in the power of her voice, and with Katie Melua and Sarah McLachlan in execution and genre. Ive never heard a voice with such a voulnerbility and honesty, John Stea expressed, a well-known songwriter from Nashville and co-writer with Camilla on Does It Show.

The Future
After five years in England Camilla is now back in Norway. She is strongly aiming on a music career and wishes to work with good musicians and producers who believe in her. Camilla is currently based in London and are looking for people to work and collaborate with.
