Camfed (the Campaign for Female Education) is an international organisation dedicated to fighting poverty and AIDS in rural communities in Africa by educating girls. Camfed began in 1993 by supporting 32 girls in rural Zimbabwe. In 2006, 300,900 children benefited from CAMFED's programme of educational support in some of the poorest regions of Zimbabwe, Zambia, Ghana and Tanzania.
The Camfed video channel connects you directly to our work in Africa, and the rural communities with whom we partner.

Hi, you have an excellent video up (featured on youTube home at the moment) that says with 25$ a child can go to school for an entire year. There are two things missing to this video: 1) a note about where this video was taken (i.e. what is the exact location/region/etc.) and 2) an option to give 25$. [you only offer 10$ or 50$ in the drop-down menu.

These are excellent videos for Camfed. The subject selected for interview was refreshing, bright, well-spoken and convincing that the cause is indeed a worthy one. Keep up the great work!
