I wish I had watched this back in 1999... I think i completely effed up the neck on my 93 Korean strat. Nut height is too high so i get bad intonation when fretting at the lower frets. Its now a project guitar so i may work up the courage to attempt lowering it. Great video.

@cmstricker67 at one point in the 80s it did. He had it removed. You can see the faint remainder of where the tremelo used to be. Phil Taylor replaced it with a small piece of wood and refinished the body.
