@muchlopi That song was copyrighted 1985, so the former is correct.
Sir David Wise seems to draw more of an influence from his fellow Brits at Duran Duran than anyone (i.e. several of the themes in Donkey Kong Country seem to have instruments and segments from Save a Prayer.)
