14 Year Old Singer/Guitarist

Hi, I'm Calvin and I started playing guitar when I was 11 (on my 11th birthday!).

I practice around 6 hours a day, but when I am with my band could be for up to 10 hours or more.

My favourite guitarists include: Slash for his cool riffs and amazing solos, followed by Zakk Wylde, George Benson, Joe Satriani, Wes Montgomery, and the list goes on.

I am self taught, although more recently I have been directed by my bass playing Dad, who has taught me advanced mode playing, chord structure, jazz and blues concepts and helped tweak my timing.

I bought all my equipment through busking, £2000 PRS, Roland Street Cube £200 and a whole lot more (pedals etc.).

Favourite Films: Pick of Destiny, Big Mommas House I and II, Dog Day Afternoon, The Godfather, Blues Brothers, School of Rock, White Chicks, Up in Smoke and anything that makes me laugh.
