Rafael and Rodrigo, former guitarists of Dvesha, and Rodolfo, Rodrigo´s cousin, were the three fundamental pieces for the creation of Calm Manner.
The first single was released with guitarists Rodolfo and Rodrigo, and Rafael as lead singer. Afterwards, they decided to take the next step onto the making of the project, and invited Diogo Mattos, former drummer of Dvesha to complete the new band´s formation.

After a few rehearsals, trouble strikes hard. Diogo had to leave the band, which lead the search for a new drummer. A number of auditions were set, but not one of the aspiring drummers fulfilled the requirements and expectations of the integrants of Calm Manner.
The band got stuck during a period of three months, until October, when drummer Zapha (formerly from Santo Ódio) and guitar bass player Nilton filled in. The five-man front was settled, and the band started working on new songs. But in January 2007, for a number of reasons, Zapha and Nilton left the band.
New auditions were set, and in February, Thais Fusco filled in as the new drummer, acting strongly compromised with the band.

In May 2007, with a new attitude, the band hit the studios to record their first single "War of Silence".
