CATEGORY INFORMATION:

Best General Video - The best video that is not about just one character specifically and is not intended to be a ship.

Best Character Video - The best video about one and only one character.

Best Monk and Trudy Video - The best video regarding Monk and his late wife Trudy

Best Ship Video - The best video of any ship. Do not submit based on preference only!

Best Monk and Sharona Video - The best video that represents Mr. Monk and Sharona Fleming's relationship, shippy or non-shippy.

Best Monk and Natalie Video - The best video that represents Mr. Monk and Natalie Teeger's relationship, shippy or non-shippy.

Best Monk/Sharona/Natalie Love Triangle Video - The best video based on a Monk, Sharona and Natalie love triangle. You know you love those videos...!

Best Other Ship Video - The best video of any ship other than Monk/Sharona or Monk/Natalie. The purpose for this category is it's harder to find a lot of videos on YouTube for other ships.

Best Production - A video of excellent quality in editing, timing, song choice, use of effects, and so on.

Best Song - The video with the best song.

Best Original Story - The video that best takes the Monk characters out of their element and creates an original story. For example: A ship video where two characters were together, but now aren't.

Most Unique - The video that is by far the most unique whether you think it's over the top and annoying or the most creative thing you've ever seen.

Most Memorable - The video that is most memorable for any number of reasons including, but not limited to creativity, song choice, storyline, humor, tragedy, etc.
