The BBs were alloted 5 minutes to fire...the Jersey fired a battle ship broad side and a rounds out of their 5" battery. The Misssouri on the other hand utilized all of the time frame to show just what a BB can do. Each broadside totaled 9 tons of ammunition going out from just the 16" guns. ...
