Is this a stretchy wrap? Stretchy wraps are dangerous for back carries and also should not be used for babies larger than 12-18 lbs depending on wearer's preference and child's physical size.

The fleece I plan to use is actually from Columbia fleece jackets that my mother gave me - you can't see through them at all and I assume they would work fantastic as a waterproof cover! I assume the suede cloth you added was to keep peanut dry? As awesome as that stuff is, my peanut is allergic ...

I adored this - I love using pins too and don't wanna buy a snap fastener just yet.

My concern is that elastic around the leg! do you have any extra advice for sewing that?? What kind of elastic did you buy and how much did you end up using??

I do a really wide stitch on the outside because I think it helps keep the wipe from bubbling and becoming messy when using.
