I will never understand why the don't simply hook up some ropes to the tree cut it down at the base and then lower it slowly to the ground where it can be cut up. This would even work in cases where the tree is hanging over houses etc. If you ask me doing it this way just gives the pro's an excus...

@qiranwang Should be much less. The battery is warrantied for 10 years so no problem there and there are no ongoing costs like oil changes, filter changes, air filter cleaning, tuneups etc. Electric motors are extremely maintenance free.
