@matthewthewizkid if your issues started after an impact to your rear derailleur then you probably need a derailleur hanger adjustment as well as a tension adjustment. You'll need to park tools DAG (or equivalent tool from someone else) or about 5 to 10 bucks to shell out to your LBC.
