It's understandable that Bobby Griffiths' story, or at least the Lifetime TV dramatization of "Prayers for Bobby" engenders "Mixed Emotions"! But do take heart kiddo, it dramatizes events that in fact took place a very long time ago! The future for all traditionally marginalized people, LGBTQ among them. has never looked brighter! I say this in spite of the fact that what caused Bobby Griffith to take his own life is still going on, there's undoubtedly been a "Paradigm Shift" in attitude! Things are far more hopeful today, than when Bobby Griffith and I were two "Out" boys and dating!
