REO also changed my life too right around the "High Infidelity" album. It spoke to me man, IT SPOKE TO ME. I was wise enough to listen to that "heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who. . . ." meant for me to not do anything stupid to get thrown in prison.

Interesting version. The brass and wind seemed to take a lot of the fire and rawness out of the song. I can see why some would like this and not like it too much.

As others mentioned "Live is Life" was a huge a hit in places other than the U.S. It could not be escaped in Europe.

Another worldwide hit that missed the U.S. was Falco's " Jeanny."

Oddly enough, one of the things I really liked about the Seekers version is that Judith's voice was in the background with the guys out front. Is there another version that has her handling the lead vocals?
