The symbol tool in Illustrator reminded me of the pattern stamp tool in Photoshop- Except Illustrator made it even more convenient by allowing one to directly play and alter with the symbols- twisting, recoloring, etc.

Although the gradient tool is easier to get used to, the mesh tool allows one to make more of a varied pattern- it is kind of reminiscent of army camouflage patterns.

Besides being able to save it as a .jpeg image, it seems that there are also a lot of different files that Adobe Illustrator can save its work as- It'll be interesting to learn more in depth about them and what differences they have.

It feels like Adobe Illustrator is more user-friendly than Photoshop.

The different kinds of picture files were interesting to know about. I did know the difference between a jpeg, a gif, and others, but I had never heard of a TIFF file before. Since it is said to be the highest quality type of file, I will try using it later on.

The Auto-coloring was quite interesting. I was impressed at the fact that Photoshop was able to rearrange the colors in order to make the photo look better.

Phew... Signature photos are harder than I thought initially...

But at least I got it over with. From the next time on, I can just use the file that I made today!

It seems like a major part of photoshop involves selecting things...

(i.e. marquee, magic wand, etc.) I am not very good with my hands, so I am a little concerned about how this will work out, but it is still a lot of fun!

I've actually gotten to know many of these shortcuts as I used a mac over the last 5 years. Stil, you can never learn too much- This had been useful.

Wow. I've never thought much about the animation function of the Powerpoint, I just thought it was an unimportant visual decoration. Glad to see that I was proven wrong!

Hmm, interesting.

The Choose function was especially of interest, but I would have been even more impressed if there was a "random roll" feature of sorts, where a number could be randomly generated, instead of us choosing a number.

The Excel tutorial was extremely helpful in helping me make charts and take polls on people's opinions.

The vLookup is helpful but slightly confusing...

The choosing column part was the part I had a little problem comprehending.

In the end, nearly everything that we put out on the web is available for others to see. I have been partially conscious of this (mostly because I am paranoid) but I learned that I really should be more scrupulous about what I display about myself online.

I did know about the concept of Web 1.0 and 2.0 and its distinction. But the concept of "Me 2.0" was very interesting. The various uses and potential of Me 2.0 was helpful to know, although the statistics were slightly depressing -___-''
