I think using rectangle boxes to align guides is really innovative, because I don't have to manually measure the rulers. In this tutorial I've learned some new tools like text wrapping, and making drop cap!

I'm really glad you persisted through making this tutorial 3 times, because ..it really helped me in completing my task! From drawing different patterns and dash-lines, warping texts, and creating a new character from scratch, I really got to see how far I came in using technology.

I had no idea that design had "techniques." I thought it was just merging bunch of texts and pictures till it looked visually appealing, but I was wrong. I liked the creativity in the comb in the vogue magazine!

Using grids seem to make designs neater, yet more attractive because of its simplicity. Also, I really like the concept of "quizzing" font choices!

I didn't know I could just shrink my text box and click the red square to make another column! The wrap tool too, adds some significance to the poster, because it makes the poster to stand out even more!

There really are infinite ways of making text types! I find the making holes in texts most fascinating!

I had no idea that texts could align its shape along the top layer zigzag shape! The clipping mak also showed the flexibility of enabling texts to have any textures.

So after all, there was a guide to harmonize colors! There are amazingly many methods, and I personally like Triodic/Triad the best!

The idea of taking a flat 2D picture and making it 3D in a split second was startling! I love how I can draw only half of an object with the pen tool, and Ai makes rest of the 3D object for me.

Ai brushes are more diverse than PS brushes;; wow I am able to create graphics using only brushes! I liked giving water waves to the lake the most.

Oh my, how many options are there in Ai in diversifying symbols?! Plus, they are much easier to use than Photoshop's stamp tool!

i can't believe i just created bamboo on my computer. It even looks like it has 3D dimensions. The pen tool and mesh tool are a perfect match for drawing objects!

I absolutely love how I can just click and color paint parts of an image! It reminds me of my childhood!

The gradient is so much more diverse and flexible in Ai. It's also so great that Ai has a program for auto color matching for harmonious colors!

It's still so amazing to me, as to how two star shapes turned into a beautiful flower! Plus, they aren't as complicated as I thought they would be!

It's amazing how I could select multiple objects and change its property all at once! This saves time!
