About six months ago, my cat lost the use of his hind legs. I made this wheelchair for him out of pvc pipe (it's light enough and sturdy). Since then, it has acted like physical therapy for him and after four months he has been able to take a few steps on his own. I left his hind legs available to move while he is in it. It is easy to get him in and out of and the middle support holding up his belly is a sling shot with surgical tubing. I hope others can see this and learn that hope is not gone...it's very easy to make and cheap ($20.00), as opposed to $300.00 that online stores ask for cat wheelchairs. If you have any further questions you can contact me via email and I would love to answer any questions you may have. Flybirdab@aol.com
