For a little background information, I am in a Film and Media Academy at my high school. That's very rare for a high school in California due to the budget cuts. My high school class was the first to experience this academy. Now we have newcomers; the sophomore class.

In this academy, I've learned the history, symbolism, meanings, techniques, genres, and the history of the filmmaking process of film in last year's "Introduction to Film" class.

This year, I am in a "Video/Film Production" class. Focusing on the pre-production and post-production processes of the industry.

I'm well at encoding (and transcoding), captioning, and editing. That being, I plan on being an editor.
