That is a touching Steve-Billie Jo moment at the conclusion.

When Uncle Joe tells Sam that he's worried that the girls could lose the hotel, they pretty much acknowledge, albeit indirectly, that Kate has passed on, as the hotel belongs now belongs to them.

Sam Drucker describing the destruction of the Honeymoon Cottage can't hold a candle to Maynard G. Krebs describing the demolition of the old Endicott Building- ha, ha.

I wish someone had the full series of Dobie Gillis to post on youtube.

Bert the Barber was being played by the original Doc Stuart in this episode.

Also, it's interesting that Jerry, Billie Jo's boyfriend introduced a few episodes earlier, was played by a different actor. The first Jerry was her real life husband.

A great episode. Other than a few duds- episodes 11-14- Season 7 is terrific. At this point, I think it could have gone one more season, but have to see the rest of the season 7 to be sure.
