I'm Lance and I use this YouTube channel to show off my favorite sport - eventing. I'll film upper level eventing (and jumper shows) in USEA Area II when I have time. I subscribe to the Dogma 95 school of film making - lol.

Eventing is wonderful to watch - and it rewards an active spectator. You can picnic or tailgate, walk the course (with your dog if you like), listen for the sound of approaching hoofbeats and see great horses and riders jump obstacles that would require a step ladder for most people, or a raft!

I've been riding for over five years now and I still find it amazing that this animal will let you climb on its back and completely trust you to go places.

Churchill was right.

I use a Panasonic Lumix GH1 for the HD videos (from Jan 2010 onwards).

If you copy these video clips to make a video of your own I would love to see the result.

	MrThebodon (1 month ago) I absolutely loved your 2011 Rubicon Horse Trials video. I loved hearing about your own experiences. Like you, I came to riding as an adult. Obtained my first horse only in recent times. Am hoping to go show jumping this summer and I hope to aim towards doing One Day Events as we call them here, I too never realised how fit the rider had to be - I thought one just sat and steered! Definitely you should come to Ireland. You would love hunting. Check out hunting videos on youtube. If you don't like the idea of hunting we also do drag hunting where the hounds follow a scent laid down by some leading riders. Let us know how you are getting on with your Eventing Career!!
