This song is dedicated to the heartache of the king of the Delta Blues, Robert Johnson.
After losing his young wife and infant daughter, he must have felt abandoned by love and life. You can hear the hard times and tough luck in his music that was recorded in San Antonio and Dallas, Texas. These actual locations are part of this visual presentation.
"Abandon" is not a blues song, but rather an expression of loneliness that we all have experienced at one time or another.
