About ButterwickHospice
Butterwick's three hospices provide loving care to children with short and precious lives and adults with life limiting illnesses, from across the North East. We offer a very homely and friendly environment for our patients and their loved ones. The Hospice is staffed by a brilliant team of professionals and volunteers who provide excellent standards for respite and end of life care, along with much-needed family support and bereavement services.
Our special care is provided free of charge, meaning we rely on the generosity of local people to help fund the services for adults, children and their families who need them so much.
