Butch (Google: David Silvercloud) is not at all shy but is a very reclusive artist, writer and an expert in the field of photography, who lives in Vancouver, Canada. He has had a very wide variety of experiences in life including being a submariner and navigator in the armed forces. He's a really smart guy who is interested in sub-atomic structure, shape, and motion... the science and physics of atoms.

Butch is getting old and not well. He has severe arthritis but will keep making videos as long as he can still walk or has a pulse.

Butch has several websites and YouTube channels. This is his News Channel.

Butch shoots in High Definition and uses a variety of monopods to "get above the crowd". In particular he likes the XShot lightweight monopod which is very small and inexpensive. Butch uses a variety of cameras but the current main cameras used are a Sony NEX5 and GoPro Hero helmet cam. Other cameras used are a Pentax W90 and Fuji FinePix XP for rainy days and around water. The GoPro is also waterproof.

He also uses a SLIK LIGHTY POD 200 which comes with a ball head and is very, very light. Highly recommended.

He also likes his little GIOTTOS tripod with ball head. Tripod is an MT9340B
The ball head does not come with the tripod but is also a Giottos product.
