I am an intuitive artist working in the varied media of collage, painting, sculpture, digital art and photography.

Betsy Alexander is my wife and life collaborator. She is a musician, composer, teacher, and a visual artist.

In addition to Nora (named after the surrealist artist Leonora Carrington), we have five other wonderful feline friends: Miro (after Jean Miro), Gabby (after Gabriel Faure), Max (after Max Ernst), Clara (after Clara Schuman) and Rennie (after Rene Magritte).

Don't miss Nora's newest book, "Nora the Piano Cat's Guide to Becoming a Good Musician," which is available now from Amazon.com. It is also available from the publisher at CreateSpace.com (an Amazon.com company).

Following in the wake of "The Tao of Nora 2008" calendar (and inspired by Betsy Alexander's teaching philosophy), the new book features sage (and serious) advice on things like picking an instrument, developing your ear, practicing, patience, and more. And it has some pretty cool photos of Nora taken by yours truly.
