Occupation: Audio Engineer.
For 15 years or so, music has taken over my life. It seems I only know a few non-musicians.
My friends have almost all gone on to become promoters, tour-managers, producers, or sound engineers. A couple of guys are in video also but I'm more on the music side although these videos have all been shot by me.. only recently have I used a decent camera.

Youtube is a great place to share the experience of music. Many of these videos contain old footage of shows where I was either the front-of-house engineer, or a stage tech and knew the engineers really well. I've watched bands go from beginner to pro.. used van with rusting holes in the floor playing for gas money or for free all the way to major label with busses.. from playing on a small stage through my old 2000 watt PA to playing on massive systems.
I'm sort of an independent sound-man who works locally mainly on outdoor shows.. but have some major-label touring experience.
