I am a songwriter influenced by many diverse artists and songwriters, including Cole Porter, Nat King Cole, the Beatles, ELO, America, 10cc, James Taylor, Carole King, Chris Rainbow, the Eagles, Carly Simon, Phil Collins, Corrine Bailey Rae and numerous others. I entered eleven of my songs in the UK Songwriting Contest 2008 and achieved 3 semi-finalist places and 8 commendations. While I was a bit disappointed not to win anything, I was happy that the judges obviously liked all of my songs - none of them received a low score. I am hoping that the exposure I have gained from the competition might lead to something positive. I am very pleased to have had so many nice comments for my songs on YouTube. If you like my songs, please ask your family and friends to have a listen. Thanks to everyone who has taken the time and trouble to comment.

We're both in agreement with John Lennon-I like what Phil Spector did to "The Long And Winding Road"-
Paul McCartney completely loathed Spector's production on it though.
