Santi..... buy drag radials and stop crying about it???? Not crying at all. Just tired of car makers making excuses why they can't do something. It all comes down to (money) profit. That and when I goto spend that much money on a new performance car it better have options I want.....like wide tires.

Everyone makes valid points on whether wider tires would or wouldn't help. But, me personally I would've gone no smaller than 295s on rear and 275s on front.

Autoweek mag reports that 2011 Porsche GT3 RS 4.0 tire sizes are front 245/35/19 and 325/30/19 rear. I know rear engine car but tire sizes are in question here.

Yeah, it was a custom Porsche GT3 I looked at. Whoops sorry. But, I stick with my first point that alot of people agree with. Ford is making excuses about doing the work with putting wider rear tires. I think N.V.H. has to do with it. Noise vibration harshness testing issues wide tires do have.

Just checked Porsche 245/35/19 front tires and 345/25/19 rear tires. What makes a car push or have understeer is a big top heavy engine that sits up to high in the chassis not the wide rear tires. Pretty much stock besides a BBK cold air intake, Hurst short throw shifter, King Cobra Clutch, H-pipe without cats, Dynomax mufflers, and 3.73 gears.

Boss 429 dyno blow up!
Boss 557 on dyno when everything goes wrong. Had to rush for dyno time and did not have billet flywheel. We used stock 429 flywheel. Made 6 runs...
Bottom line Ford didn't take any tax payer bailout money. Did GM give any taypayers a HUGE taxpayer discount for helping them out? Anyways cool video

1993 turbo mustang cobra. 9 sec. pass. 76mm turbo with a 331. tuned by mike murillo.
9.97 is still a 9 second pass.Not a 10 but 9 second pass. Even if the 93 Cobra ran a 9.00 second pass it would still be a 9 second pass. In racing 9.97 beats a 10 second pass in a race everytime. Nice car.
