About Mechanix:
" Mechanix " is a Bangladeshi heavy metal band. In 2006, after departure from the previous bands Metrical and Annex(aka Vetust) ; Tridib, Tamzid, Reaz and Rusho strong-willed that they would form a Project. The foremost and core mission of members of this Project was self development of their playing. But the chemistry was so good from the first click that then ; they united together and formed the band called "Mechanix". After that Mechanix was in search of a guitarist and so they found Imran who used to play in Prisoners as a lead guitarist.
Then the journey of Mechanix began. Mechanix initiated their journey by covering the very popular and challenging songs in the underground scenario like Holy Wars, Tornado of Souls, Master of puppets, Painkiller etc. From the very beginning, the band instigated with a very high note and got huge responds from the audiences gathering a massive and gigantic fan-following of Mechanix. They performed in good number of various underground shows since they commenced their journey.
In 2007 biggest success for the band was participating in the competition Drockstar's 2.They reached the semi-finals in that competition. In Drockstar's 2, Mechanix recieved enormous, appreciated and valued responds from all parts of both Bangladeshi audiences and international audiences. Mechanix created a new vive especially among the youth listeners in listening to Bangladeshi metal music as the genre of metal music was pretty much new by then. Through Drockstar's 2, Mechanix managed to create the bridge between the people by introducing them to the genre of metal music in a more melodic and rhythmic way. Reaz from Mechanix was awarded as the best drummer in Drockstar 2 competition.
By the end of 2007, they did their 1st single Jhoddha, composed, tuned, recorded and lyrics by ex-guitarist Imran, which was released in "Undergorund 2"; a mixed album by Komol (Warfaze & Aurthohin) and distributed by the Label: G series. Imran left the band in 2008 due to some personal problems and as he composed the song he won the copy right of Jhoddha and he took his song back. The song no longer belongs to Mechanix. Then guitarist Zeheen Ahmed replaced Imran within a month. Mechanix opted to have him in the band for his extreme music sense and capability to deal with various responsibilities as a band member of Mechanix. After unification of Zeheen Ahmed, Mechanix started their album work and were nearly done with the recording process by 2010 August. In 2009 the so called Blockbuster hit song "Dhruboshor" was released in "Rock 202 and 303", a band mixed by Asif Iqbal jewel (miles) under the Label: G Series. And in 2010 " Itihas '71 " a song dedicated to the independence war of Bangladesh was released in "Rock 404 and 505" a sequence to the rock series under the Label: G Series.
Mechanix has performed just about in all the big rock concerts and shows in Bangladesh but among them, performing with Artcell in their 10 years insanity was a show that the band members feel that it has been always a delusion for them. In 2010 August ,the band had to face their most thorny moments since the founder member of the band Ruhso became busy with his working life. Therefore they had to look for another bassist and Nadwee joined as new recruit in Mechanix. Though that wasn't end for Rusho with Mechanix. Infact ,he is considered as the be lifelong and enduring member of Mechanix and whenever required, Rusho shall provide his contribution and involvement in every way in future for Mechanix. In 30th July, 2011, " Mechanix " have released the Long awaited and anticipated album under the Label " DLM " (Dead Line Music). The title of Mechanix's 1st solo album is "Oporajeyo" there are 10 songs compiling the album . By the grace of Almighty Allah, Mechanix's very first album Oparajeyo is receiving amazing and noteworthy appreciation from the listeners.
