It's up for dispute, this is the commonly known story of early capoeira. After slavery, it became a martial art known for gang association. Hustlers and thugs (malandro) used this style to hurt, steal, and kill. People carried straight razors and utilized capoeira's difficult to anticip...

America certainly does not have her own language, but thats because the main aspect of it's culture is that it is a diverse country of countless other cultures.

English, Spanish, Arabic, Hindi, Greek, etc. are all languages spoken in America.
