About Me:
Michael Jackson is a man. He is not a one dimensional religious icon, a character from a romantic fantasy, a diabolical puppet master or a Perfect Performance Machine. Most fans have placed him in such a tiny box it's amazing he didn't suffocate in his effort not to let them down. The belief most have that this is a hoax done for them is appallingly selfish. This is not a game, a message, or a lesson. I spent months educating myself about Micheal's life after the Arviso trial. If you genuinely care about the man, I suggest you do the same -- he is worth the time and effort. The relentless chipping away at this man's soul did not end on June 13, 2005. He was going to be hounded to death. It became crystal clear that the only way he could survive was to "die".
There do seem to be obvious indications that MJ lives, and some can be interpreted as meaning he may return. Part of me hopes he does! But it begins to seem selfish to expect him to take hit after hit just because he brings me so much joy. Realistically, why would he come back? He'd be returning to the very thing he had to escape. Instead, it seems to me he wanted to tell those paying attention that if they Keep Watchin, they will see periodic evidence that he is out there, some where. I like to think he is aware that some have made a serious effort to understand the pressures he faced, to understand why he had to do this. Most of all I hope he's happy, he deserves it more than anyone I know. It's his turn now.
