~Rainbow Bridge~
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt and maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing. They each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks at the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling each other in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. As you can see I am a wacky cat lover and I always will be, but yes I still do LOVE animals. I have 2 cats at home. I really don't spend that much time with them because I go to school. But I do have some time to play with them. I have a Himalayan, and a Maine Coon. Those Maine Coons are big. My Himalayan's name is Smokey. He is 8 years old. He might live for long because he isn't fat like Pappu. (He's a boy.) He is white, he almost looks like a ghost. Scary to think about it, but he is VERY nice. He sleeps most of the time, but when he's awake I can play with him again. When we play, I have a red mouse toy with cat nip in it. He smells it, then lays down like he is getting a yummy treat. I give the mouse toy to him and he wobbles, and trys to eat that fake mouse toy, he falls off the bed. Then he runs to the living room. So weird, but that Smokey is curious! Now my other cat, Maine Coon. My Maine Coon's name is Pappu. He is SO big! He is really fat, he might get a heart attack ANY day. He is also 8 years old, like my cat Smokey. He is really cute. He has blackish brownish fur. He always snuggles up with me in bed and begs for attention. He sleeps ALL THE TIME. Almost the whole day! But I do not care if they sleep ALL DAY. At least I have 2 happy, cute, alive cats!
