Very nice Mike! Smooth! I just restored a '93 1001 model, it's just like new and flys that way. U-pipe and all!! What percent nitro were you burning back then? Nice smoke trail!! Mine had one crack in the frames that I had to fix. I heard some of the older ones did that. You still have t...

Glen, very nice gear and this is really interesting. You get an amazing variety of tones from such a simple setup. I didn't know Ken used a silicon rectifier on his amps, I don't see a tube on the back. Also both transformers are on one side. I wonder why he did that? I'm sure Ken had his ...

@SgtThump Sorry to hear about your divorce. I'll look for the Electro-Dyne on your channel. It looks portable and pretty simple to use which is unusual for a Mesa. My Mark IV combo is a great amp - but it breaks my back and all the switches and settings can get bumped or even torn off when yo...

Thanks brother, that's cool. So it's an A blues with some diminished scales on the A7? Your following the I IV V, I can hear them pass. Sounds like the F could be there around the 2:20 mark. Am I right? You're really good. And you play with no effects. Nothing to hide behind. Bravo!

These demos are perfect for tone chasers. You are one solid player too. Great touch, you could probably make a Gorilla amp sound good! Question: What do you mean that the Landry is more "open?" Please do a single coil test too. Thanks.

Best I've heard in a long time - Mike, you have your own style. It's great - very dynamic. Satriani, Vai, Malmsteen, Petrucci, Bratta, Wylde come to mind and you seem to have all of their best traits. Nice melody like Satch, aggressive like Vai, flatpicking like Malmsteen, tapping like Bratt...

Great tool to teach with. It has almost all of the guitar techniques used. So you learn the neck well while keeping it interesting. What was that muted classical riff #64? And Sandman was just so funny and out of place. I couldn't do a lot of those stretches though.
