Since 2003 I've been teaching myself to play accordion after inheriting two accordions from my late uncle (Hohner 48 bass and Galotta 32 bass).
I had some musical background having studied classical piano for 4 years as a child, but despite the best intentions of my capable teacher I didn't achieve much.
Discovering accordion was my musical awakening, a portable instrument that can play melody and accompaniment, a band in a box! Especially I love my Hohner Lucia which is a glorious instrument with 4 sets of reeds, 96 basses and more possibilities than I know how to use.
I love playing accordion, and music is the greatest joy in my life. I'm not a natural musician and the modest performances you see here are the result of many hours of enjoyable practice, I hope you enjoy them too.
