I am only just getting started so I think the best is yet to come!
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Well I reckon a video is worth a thousand pictures.
I made my first stop motion film in 1980 with a 8mm film camera. It went for 3 minutes.
I wish I knew what happened to it.
I have made amateur videos ever since using a variety of equipment and methods - Beta/VHS tapes, DVD and now Memory cards.
Some of those were 1 hour epics that were probably of interest only to me, my close friends and my Mum.
I realise now that in the information age, the human attention span has been reduced to a few minutes (if that). So I am going to try to make videos for youtube that are short and sweet.
I have a range of interests that include Rope related activities such as Abseiling, Rockclimbing, Canyoning and Caving. I also love adrenalin sports such as Skiing (Downhill and Cross Country) and Skydiving, but I really love getting back to nature. I enjoy going on long multi-day Hikes and getting out amongst it.
My favourite place in the world is the Alpine region of Australia.
