Phyllis' family is from Greensboro, N.C. Phyllis use to come to Greensboro a lot to visit her grandmother. Every time she visited she would do interviews on the A&T State University's radio station (WNAA). She was very down to earth and a very genuine sister. She is truely missed by all.

I remember it by "The Spellbinders". I was in the Air Force at the time. Seems like I can remember every song that was out back then!!

Eddie Holman did a great job with this song (Lonely Girl) but I always loved it by Ruby and The Romantics. I actually loved all of their stuff.

One of our street corner favorites. Man, we sang our hearts out. Great memories!! We use to sing this song on the corner in Orlando Fla. when I was station (Air Force, McCoy AFB) there from 66 to 70. Man, it was great.
