so beautiful...so modern...so traditional ....listening with headphones is going more into his world /universe. EN opens doors widely....I wrote may be a year ago that I felt He was, He still is, a medium..I've been a huge fan of Rach and Horowitz for long..with EN I feel it of another nature......

Interesting comparison in terms of bravura ...thanks ! in this respect you should add the interpretation of Earl Wild here on YT with Arthur Fiedler/Boston Pops...properly amazing....

luxurious ...very Rachmaninovian climax.... interesting conducting I met this work first conducted by Ormandy - as quite often, you get used to the 1st interpretation you listen, doesn't mean it is THE interpretation... :-) - and Svetlanov is doing fine !
