@Twolvez (sorry, posting via phone). Basically I gave up and installed a new one. It wasn't ridiculously hard but it took a while and was relatively expensive at $250 for a new switch. If you need a hand I'm happy to give you more details. :)

A vector image is mathematically based which means it can be scaled to any size, modified in anyway and moved around indefinitely without any image degradation ...
