HERE IS MY ALPHA 76PA CONVERTED TO PAIR OF 3CX800A7 TUBES RUNNING AT 1500 WATTS PEP (LEGAL LIMIT). THE AMPLIFIER IS JUST LOAFING AT THIS POWER LEVEL.

You know, i like to convert amplifiers to a tube available and put them back in service. Also good sheet metal and transformers are very hard to find. You mentioned that you could not sell this amplifier. If I had seen it on QTH.com at a reasonable price I would have bought it from you.
