@hornetsnest001 Ron didn't marry the girl standing next to him, Kathy Quinlan. He married Cheryl Howard in 1975, and they're still married to this day.

Mr. Hitchcock first requested owls to be used in this scene. Owls of various sizes. Hitchcock wanted the scene to look frantic, but the owls only succeeded in looking comical. So finches, parakeets and sparrows were used and achieved the desired creepiness.

I'm surprised the angry sledder was even allowed to cross the line to interrupt the reporter. Is the reporter alone with just a camera operator? I thought news reporters went to a news story with a crew of people to organize and (if needed) to prevent a nasty situation.

10:14.....now begins a wonderfully tender scene between the lovely Lady Glencora and Mr. Palliser. I love it. It's a beautiful denouement to the Phineas Finn trial for murder storyline and prepares us for the next story involving the slippery Ferdinand Lopez.

Madame Max, Lady Laura and Phineas Finn finally enter the plot. They add so much joie de vivre to the story. I love them.
