We are the Broward County, FL Chapter of ANAD. ANAD (National Association of Anorexia and Associated Eating Disorders) is the oldest
non-profit organization in the United States dedicated to alleviating the problems of eating disorders and promoting healthy lifestyles. ANAD offers hotline counseling, support groups, referrals to health care professionals, and education and prevention programs. All of these services, including this group, are free. Thanks to ANAD, we have been fortunate enough to open up this group. This group is open to anyone struggling and/or in recovery from an eating disorder and is also open to anyone who is interested in learning about how they can support someone with an eating disorder. The purpose of our group is to provide support, information, education, and most importantly, hope for recovery.
