About Bronxnet TV "Perspectives" w/ Daren Jaime
"Perspectives" is an award-winning, live interactive program geared at providing information, raising awareness and stimulating dialogue among the African-American community on both a national and local level. The show features informed guests who offer insight, debate and evaluate various issues.
The show seeks to enlighten the public to available resources in and around their community. Perspectives provides a fair and balanced thirty minutes of programming where viewers can become educated and empowered as well as share their thoughts and opinions by calling in live.
Now entering its fifth season, Perspectives, was born when BRONXNET shifted its programming format from news to interview and talk. The show is the brainchild of its host and executive producer Daren Jaime. Daren's goal was to use public television to improve the diversity of African-American programming by establishing a news related cable television program to stimulate dialogue and discussion.
