My father was a jack of all trades, and Master of some. Growing up, my two brothers and I were his helpers on all phases of housing construction. Thus, I think I fit the bill as a handyman (homo habilis in latin, the name for the first humans to use tools). He was also a Veteran of WW!! and the naval battle of Guadacanal. His ship, the destroyer the U.S.S. Preston, a destroyer was sunk. After four years of duty, and after the war, he went to Siena College and got a degree in physics and became a math teacher, and lastly a high school principal. Notably he quit high school to join the navy after Pearl Harbor,
